Application of alumina wear-resistant ceramic lining plate and ZTA zirconium aluminum composite plate in power plants

The pulverization, ash residue, dust removal, and coal transportation systems of coal-fired power plants are prone to leakage and environmental pollution during operation due to continuous friction, corrosion, collision, and impact of the medium. The application of alumina ceramic lining plates and ZTA zirconium aluminum composite lining plates is the best method to address this problem.

(1) Powder making system

The wear of the coal powder system in coal-fired power plants mainly comes from coal powder collision, friction, and impact. The high-speed coal powder airflow causes severe wear on the equipment of the coal pulverization system, especially on the outlet pipes of the coal mill, the elbows of the primary air pipes, and the inlet and outlet pipes of the coarse and fine powder separators. The application of alumina ceramic lining plate or ZTA ceramic lining plate has achieved good results and has been recognized by users. Its biggest advantage is simple construction and low cost.

(2) Ash and slag systems

For power plants that use hydraulic ash removal and slag discharge systems, the inlet and outlet pipe sections such as ash pumps and ash ditch nozzles are the most susceptible to wear and tear. Depending on the on-site working conditions, it is more suitable to stick adhesive type ceramics. Maintenance personnel no longer frequently plug leaks and replace equipment, and on-site hygiene has greatly improved.

(3) Coal transportation system

The wear of coal conveying system equipment mainly comes from impact, and the most easily worn parts are the coal chute, tee, baffle, etc. The application of ZTA zirconia aluminum composite ceramic lining plate is a relatively ideal treatment method.
